(Thanks to Mark and Tiffany for letting me know.)
Thanks dude!
Wow, I’m sooo totally hyped!
Too bad I’ll be in school, I’ll have to miss that day off to cover it for my blog lol!
Anyway any thoughts on the price?
For me, the price is the most important announcement.
Well if you do skip a day of school you may want to check out the live stream I’m thinking of doing during the event. :-)
And in terms of pricing, I’m bracing myself for a $250 USD price, but I want to be pleasantly surprised.
I was hyped for Gamescom, who knows, maybe they’ll announce a euro and australian date first.
I think at Gamescom we’ll get to see more features of the 3DS before the price and release date is announced
Is the release date only going to be announced for Japan or also Europe, America and Australia?
Yeah, I hope they announce more features of the 3DS at gamescom!
@ David
I’ll totally be there! Lets hope this time we don’t get stalker-ish questions XD
“Can I see your room”
lol.
$250 is a bit high..but depending on what it comes with that maybe the price. And if Nintendo market it really well..
“A normal 3D tv with glasses costs $4,000, but with the 3DS you get 3D without wearing those stupid glasses” Only $250
XD
I’m thinking $210 bundled with a Wii Sports type of game.
Why is your name blue?
Yeahhh, this is awesome.
My girlfriend’s mother works for a huge retailer, so she may be able to find out a little before then too.
Either way, great news to know we’ll finally know eventually.
Well if that happens then make sure to send any of the details to tips (at) davidturnbull.com ;-)
Immediately marks date on iPhone calendar
so the release of the release has been released? :P
I just read on Kotaku that the 3DS (at least in the UK) will be around the price of the DSi XL which is 159.99 pounds. At least that’s what they hinted. They said it’ll be around that “architecture”
Well it’s all speculation, that was quoted by the UK marketing manager, and he believes thats what it should be charged over here in the UK. Though that depends what Nintendo gives officially.
If they are going by that, I can nab my self a nice bundle. Here they always have a console + any 3 launch games for the price of Console + 1.5 games.
I’m hoping they release it during the Holiday season.
YAY!
I saw on google that september 19, 2010 is on a Saturday, so I’ll be watching your live stream. Thanks!
Aw, never mind, it’s on the twenty-ninth, and that’s on a Tuesday.
ohh thats so long away! Hopefully there wont be a 3DS news drought until then.

Oooh, a release date for a release date! XDD
Man, I’ll need to find a way to cover that for our site during school, too.
Oh yeah, David? Over at Nintendo3DS.org.uk, we’ve put up an article with one of our writer’s thoughts on what else might come with the announcement of the release date. Check it out!
hi there to bad the release date was not september 29 2010
Hey guys,
Play.com (a UK Internet shopping site) might have accidently spilled the beans on the 3DS release date! The page is here if you want to check it out:
http://www.play.com/Games/DS/4-/15573453/Dragon-Ball/Product.html
It looks like there saying it will be a November release date… Just in time for Christmas. However, Nintendo need time to Market the 3DS and in the short space of time between now and then it might not be the best strategy. Also they need to develop the games as well and I’m sure that nintendo with it’s massive third party support will want a long list of titles for it’s first day on the shelves.
FINALLY! I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS!
