Kingdom Hearts 3D is set to be released in Japan on March 29th and, in addition to the stand-alone game, and the special 3DS design, there is also a 10th Anniversary Box which Square Enix has revealed to include:

  • Kingdom Hearts 3D
  • Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
  • Kingdom Hearts Re:coded
  • 12 piece card set showing the history of the series
  • Protective cover for the Nintendo 3DS

All of this will retail for 15,000 Yen, which is roughly equivalent to $193.

square needs to stop taunting us

    1. 3ds Freak

David GameStop is now accepting circle pad pro bundle preorders that come with a circle pad pro and resident evil revelations. This is for north America GameStop. It comes out same day as resident evil revelations

    2. Zoroark

      Yah we know.

    3. Ty

Yeah, the bundle kinda sucks- it costs as much as buying the game and the circle pad pro, so it’s not a very good deal. The European bundle is actually a good deal.

    4. Don’t you mean “Revelaitons”?

    5. Eragon Fowl

I already told people about the bundle Wednesday.

  2. Albert

And of course I’m sure it’s a Japan only bundle.
Damn it Square! There are also people outside Japan who love this series and are willing to buy bundles.

  3. Free of Birth

    My god, that’s a lot of $$.

    1. Belinni

      It is.

I’m pretty sure it’s actually cheaper to just buy the games separately, read the card over the internet (with the inevitable unboxing video from some super-fan who likes to use potatoes to record), and wait a few weeks for a replica cover that would probably be more durable to appear on Amazon/eBay/Etc.

    2. jslack

      haha potatoes

  4. millsy

Not gonna get this, but I might get the game.

  5. Auzzie Wingman

Wait wait wait, the other two games as well?

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! FLOORLESS, GO BUY FOR ME PWEASE!

  6. Mike S

Good job David, you got all this news before My Nintendo news :)

  7. protoave14

Though I like the rest of the stuff in the box, I think putting Days and Re:coded in it is kind of useless. Most fans of the series already own those.

    1. HADUKEN!!!

Well I dont and I waited the perfect time to buy it I love this bundle!

  8. Mezut360

I own those games, If its in Australia (europe) ill pre-order before you blog it!

  9. I would get this even though I already have re:coded and 358/2 days. I love this series

  10. Keith

I’m hoping they make a KH1, Re:CoM, and KH2 bundle for PS3 sometime. Imagine getting those as Final Mixes in HD. I’d jizz.

  11. Adam

Just give us the dang release date square!!!

    1. Pokeneon7

      They have…. March 29th.

  12. b2j135

    so that’s nice and all…

  13. Zimmer Remmiz

I would love a U.S. release for this, I already have 358/2 days, but I would be willing to buy it again, plus I doubt that it would cost that much in the U.S. probably closer to $99.99, at least considering that you can pick up the two DS games for about $20 each…

  14. GameCollector44

    Let me check something here…

    I can buy KH 358/2 Days for $20 new…
    I can buy KH Re:Coded for $15 new…
KH 3D is gonna be $40…
and the protective cover would probably cost you $20 otherwise.

    And 20+15+40+20 = $95.

    So uh…Square Enix…overprice stuff much? :T

    1. Perry (MON on MK7)

I think it comes with a 3DS too. Right? ” in addition to the stand-alone game, and the special 3DS design,…”

    2. Pokeneon7

Nope, no console. Your getting the limited edition version of the game though with the box.

    3. Ty

That is the US equivalent of the Japanese pricing for reference. It’ll be cheaper than that here. Games typically cost a lot more in Japan; sometimes they cost twice as much as the US price.

  15. I wonder if I can find that 12-piece card set on eBay later on.

  16. Those games together are only like $80. So the cards and case are worth $110?

  17. Eragon Fowl

Gamestop has changed the price of resident evil revelations from $49.99 to $39.99. Please give me credit if this is used as a story.

    1. …He’s right…I wonder why.

    2. Big O

      who knows.

    3. Soeroah

He doesn’t read comments for news to post, so you wouldn’t get credit anyway.

    4. @Soeroah Sometimes they do.

  18. Fred1712

No.. I need an HD COLLECTION for PS3… please…

  19. midjenko

does anyone want to know the release for this NA/Europe??

  20. Soeroah

I’m honestly a bit disappointed. I was hoping to PS3 releases of KH, KH2 and Re:CoM.

Hell, it’d be the first time Re:CoM was available in Australia.

  21. Austindo

Why so expensive? Those games aren’t worth any where near that price, and i know some little cards and a case aren’t worth that much either.

    1. Ttimer

well the 3DS is like $170 and the games are like $30 each so it would be roughly $260 total
i think it is a good price
but it is the price coverted from Yen to US Dollars so the bundle in other countries might be different
      :DKH

  22. Darrien

I’ll get one if it comes to the states.

  23. Roxic

I have everything BUT the 3DS

  24. Roxic

I have everything BUT the 3DS

    1. How did you get kh3d! i want a copy!

    2. Roxic

      and the game lol

  25. Ttimer

well good thing i waited for a KINGDOM HEARTS 3DS
    :D and i get 358/2 and Re:coded
the wait was so worth it :DKH
