Nintendo has announced that the Kid Icarus: Uprising animated shorts are returning to Nintendo Video on Sunday. They’ve released a trailer for the animated shorts that you can check out after the break.
For a while, members of Club Nintendo in Europe and Australia have been able to order packs of augmented reality cards for Kid Icarus: Uprising, but no such offer was in place for North America. It seems like that will all change soon as a customer service rep has revealed that Nintendo of America will offer the cards through Club Nintendo, but have yet to decide when they’ll be available. We’ll just have to wait for the announcement.

The all-format charts for the past week show that Kid Icarus: Uprising debuted at the sixth position, which is an achievement considering it was competing against established franchises like Mass Effect and Resident Evil. The launch of the game has caused a news drought, but I’d say that’s a positive problem to have.
This is the third story in a row related to Kid Icarus: Uprising but it’s sort of the big, blockbuster game at the moment, so there’s not much I can do about that.
